Skip The Plumber By Doing This To Unclog Your Toilet, Tub, And Sink For Free
Here are three ways to fix plumbing issues by yourself for free.

Over 2,000 programs and adding every day.
Statistics show that calling your plumber to fix issues around the house costs $450, on average.
When money’s tight, and you can barely pay your bills, the last thing you need is a plumbing problem. Why? Because they can cost several hundreds of dollars to fix. And unlike other issues, you can’t ignore plumbing problems like a clogged toilet since they’re often necessary to keep your house clean.
Why do plumbers charge so much for so little time? Because they perform an emergency service and can fix things that most of us have no idea how to do. But if you keep reading, you’ll know how to fix three common plumbing problems that will save you time, money, and frustration the next time one of them appears.
To Unclog Kitchen Pipes:
Have you ever started to do the dishes only to realize that your kitchen sink is backed up? This can put a damper on your day as you scramble for ways to clear that clog, but here’s an extremely easy fix: Use hot water.
Kitchen pipes constantly get clogged because they receive all of the gunk from your pots, pans, and dishes. Some of that gunk, such as grease and fat, gets stuck in the pipes after it hardens, resulting in a clog.
To clear the clog, pour hot (not boiling) water down the drain. As it passes through all of the gunk, it will essentially melt it to clear out your pipes. And once they’re clear, you can watch those dishes and finish that chore without worry.
To prevent your kitchen pipes from getting clogged in the first place, pour hot water down them each week. It will keep you from having to call the plumber, and you won’t have to buy any expensive unclogging chemicals from the store either.
To Unclog Toilets:
Having a clogged toilet is one of the worst problems any household can have. Not only is it inconvenient, but it’s also gross and cannot be ignored.
Instead of getting down and dirty with a clogged toilet by using a plunger or one of those snake contraptions, do this:
- Grab some dish soap.
- Pour ½ cup into the clogged toilet bowl.
- Grab a bucket of hot water.
- Slowly pour the hot water into the toilet bowl.
- Let everything sit for 10 to 20 minutes.
- By then, the water level should have gone down.
- Add more hot water.
- Flush the toilet.
While dish soap can clean your dishes, it can also act as a lubricant for a clogged toilet. Over time, it will slowly make everything in the toilet slippery so it can get dislodged, and you can flush it fuss-free.
To Unclog Tubs:
A bathroom tub can get clogged due to hair and other junk that gets stuck in the pipes. Here’s an affordable and easy fix that’s quite fun to look at, as it will fizz up and look like a mini volcano in your bathroom:
- Grab a bowl.
- Fill the bowl with warm water.
- Add ½ cup of baking soda to the bowl.
- Pour the bowl’s contents down the clogged drain.
- Let the solution sit for five minutes.
- Grab some white vinegar.
- Pour one cup of white vinegar down the drain (this is when the volcano-like reaction should occur).
- Let everything sit for 10 minutes.
- Turn on the water to let everything drain.
