Work with Housing Nonprofit

Why work with HNP

We are a pioneering organization committed to improving access to home ownership by bringing together alternative sources of funding for the people.

We have done vigorous research to create a comprehensive database of funding sources which we collectively refer to as “Housing Grants”. Our research on grants was built from the ground up using authoritative sources including government housing agencies, other nonprofits, and expert peer reviewed research.

In addition to a comprehensive database of existing housing grants, we spearhead innovative new programs that help cities meet their urban planning needs while providing incentives for homeowners.

You can join our mission to build stronger, more resilient communities through the power of homeownership.

Three ways to work with us

    1. Work with us to create a new Housing Grant that will uplift one special community. To work with us on new projects, please contact our Executive Director at janco@housingnonprofit.com.
    1. If you’re short on time but still want to support Housing Nonprofit, your donation can do alot to  bolster our existing grant programs. Donors can choose if their contribution will go towards housing grants or research to create additional sources of funding to help homeowners.
  1. Make a contribution to our efforts by scheduling time to talk with our donations coordinator at info@housingnonprofit.com Company partnerships. Join a network of companies who share our enthusiasm for accessible housing. You will be in good company with our current sponsors featured below.

Current Sponsors

We are fortunate to have the help of these sponsors involved in higher education, technology, communications, finance, and real estate.

Housing Nonprofit uses the latest technology to give the public a powerful platform which is connected in real time to housing grant administrators and lenders across the country. Morty, Inc. plays a substantial part in this work by powering our mortgage application to give users a world class experience. Creating an account on HousingNonprofit.com will give you access to the best market rates at any time, choose from multiple offers from lenders, spend less effort to complete the mortgage application, and run various scenarios with the proprietary “cost tracker” to save even more by optimizing the mortgage terms. We bring these feature together with Morty to provide the public with a nonprofit option to access housing grants and mortgages while maintaining an efficient high qualify experience.

Housing Nonprofit was a recipient of the 2023 Google Ad Grant which selects nonprofits of worthy cause to share their message with the world. Google empowers select organizations each year with substantial  grants to raise awareness, attract donors, and recruit new volunteers that bolster their efforts. Through the Google Ad Grant Housing Nonprofit is democratizing how people access financing to buy a home.

Participating Lenders

Housing Nonprofit is empowering it’s lender partners to demonstrate their commitment to community development.  Nationwide, the single largest barrier to homeownership is lack of down payment funds. Housing Nonprofit creates a win win situation by connecting residents who are committed to being good home owners to lenders who want to work with them. If you are a lender and want to promote an existing housing grant or create a new branded housing grant, please get in touch via info@housingnonprofit.com to join our growing list of participating lenders.
